Frequently Asked Questions
A: Due to the sensual nature of the treatment, it is normal for the client to be undraped for the massage (clothing is worn for the 'first phase'). However, if you would feel more comfortable wearing a G-string this is also possible unless you wish to experience the yoni massage.
A: Traditionally this treatment is performed without clothing, and in fact many clients prefer this as it puts us 'on a level playing field'. However, this is not essential to receiving a beneficial treatment therefore I am quite happy to wear shorts if this would make you feel more comfortable.
A: I normally only offer a mobile service, however I do have a treatment room available to me if necessary. I am also willing to visit you in a hotel room if you live too far away or are unable to host the treatment in your home.
A: In addition to being a member of several professional holistic therapist bodies, I am also a member of the UK branch of IASECT (International Association of Sexual Educators, Counsellors, and Therapists).
A: As well as being able to check with IASECT that I am a bone fide tantric practitioner, I am also willing to talk with you by phone at a pre-arranged time or even meet up with you at a neutral location with no obligation to book a treatment.
Either way, you will get an opportunity to get to know me a little and to fire as many questions as you like at me.
I also have a couple of clients who have expressed a willingness to act as a referee if you would like to communicate with them to request feedback.
A: Please ensure you have a shower or bath immediately before I arrive (I will do the same). Also, decide in which room you would like to create the 'sacred space' for the session, and try to tidy it as much as possible so that you are not surrounded by your everyday clutter. As you prepare, please bear in mind that the look & feel of the space in which you receive the treatment will help to shape the direction of your tantric journey (please see gallery page for photos of an excellent example of how to set up your sacred space for maximum effect). In addition please ensure that the room is comfortably warm as you will be undraped during the treatment (better to be too warm than too cold).
Q: If I want a yoni massage, do I have to shave or wax my pubic area?
A: A hair-free yoni is easier to massage and can make it more sensuous for the client, however the area can also be more sensitive particularly if you are not used to shaving. This decision is entirely yours as I am comfortable either way.
A: Whilst my treatments are very intimate and a very sensual experience for the client, I do not offer a sexual service. One of the key benefits of the treatment is the ability to receive and enjoy the power of sensual touch without the pressure of having to provide any kind of sexual favours in return. Intercourse would detract from the total experience for you.
A: As well as my own personal hygiene, I take the cleanliness of materials I use very seriously. My accessories (props) are always cleaned after each client, and towels and couch covers are laundered every time.
